WELCOME TO THE KLIPPAN CHESS CLUB.

The Klippan Chess Club was founded in 1957. At present it has some twenty members. The junior activity started in 1993.

OUR PURPOSE

• The Club aims to spread and broaden the chess activity within the municipality.
• The junior activity is aimed to provide the Club with fresh talents and future leaders
• The principal aim of the Club is to provide a pleasant place of meeting for people with an interest in chess.

ACTIVITY

• The Club participates with one team in the Fourth Division of the Swedish Chess League and with another one in the six District Division of the Northwest Scania Chess League.
• The Club also participates in the Junior District League.
• Internally we play Club Leagues of full time chess, lightning chess and fast chess.
• During the Town Park Day in August we arrange the Outdoors Chess Municipality Championship.
• Club membership also allows participation in the Individual District Championship and in the Swedish Championship.

CLUB EVENINGS

are Mondays between seven and eleven o´clock.
